Caroline Barron

Caroline graduated from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2007 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. 

Since graduation she specialised in Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy, working in various outpatient settings in Wiltshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
Born and raised in Wantage, she became a Specialist Senior Physiotherapist in Oxfordshire in 2011. 
 
In 2015 she advanced her training into Womens Health. Caroline now works within the NHS in Swindon, as a Pelvic Health Specialist Physiotherapist alongside her work at Valeside Physiotherapy. She has a special interest in pregnancy and post natal recovery, but is passionate about helping women throughout their lifespan. 
 
Within her NHS role she works closely with obstetric and gynaecology colleagues, and is also part of the perinatal pelvic health project across Swindon, Bath and Salisbury.  
 
She has gained post graduate certificates in acupuncture, taping, pregnancy massage and Pilates. A member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, Health Care Professionals Council, AACP and affilate member of the POGP.
 
Outside of work, Caroline can be found spending time with her two young children, or in the gym where she enjoys weight training.

Kathryn Beales

Kathryn graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2009 with a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy. Since then she has been working exclusively with Musculoskeletal patients within the NHS in both Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. She became a Specialist Senior Physiotherapist in Oxfordshire in 2012. She currently works as a Specialist MSK Physiotherapist in the Great Western Hospital which also involves a student teaching role.

In 2017 Kathryn also started working in the private sector alongside her NHS role. She has gained post graduate certificates in taping, acupuncture, chronic pain and various manual therapy & manipulation techniques. A member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Health Care Professionals Council and AACP.

She enjoys treating all aspects of musculoskeletal pain although has a special interest in sports related injuries (specifically in runners) and Paediatric patients.

Outside of work, Kathryn has two young children and enjoys regular running. She has also taken up Triathlon more recently which she is enjoying greatly.
